The admission ticket for this carnival is $2. However, that is only just the entrance fee for the carnival. People are expected to bring more money to exchange their money for coupons at the counter. Each coupon is worth 50cents. After they buy the coupons, they just need to use their coupons to buy things and play games.

Save The Greenback Turtle Campaign | St Pat

1. St Patrick's School has produced 10,000 Shamrock Turtle Floats (without numbers) for sale as keepsake/souvenir. I hope we can sell these to the students of our E7 Cluster School. It is priced at $10 each. We hope each school can take a consignment of 500 turtle floats to sell to their students. We will deliver these floats to your school by next week and I hope that you can lend support by publicising the turtle floats for sale.
2. We have also produced another 10,000 Shamrock Turtle Floats with numbers for adoption. Adoption Certificates have been printed and these will be sold to the secondary schools and JC only (unless the Primary schools do not mind selling the Adoption Certificates to the young). Each adoption Cert cost $10 and the certificate number corressponds to a Turtle Float which will be raced down the section of St Patrick's Canal. The numbered turtle float remains the property of St Patrick's School after the race.
3. There are 2 ways of selling the Adoption Certificates - either my students sell the tickets to your pupils during recess or I will pass you 200 Adoption Certificates to be sold by your school.
4. During the carnival, we do not propose selling coupons to students as it would entail more work. Hence, the medium of transaction is cash and we recommend that you appoint a parent or teacher be in charge of the cash transactions.

Date of Carnival and Shamrock Turtle Race:
Date: Saturday 5 July 2008
Time: 10am to 3pm
Venue: Section of Siglap Park Connector and Canal from St Patrick's School to Victoria JC
Guest of Honour : Mr Charles Chong, MP for Ponggol and Pasir Ris GRC and Chairman of Devt and Environment C'tee.
