Latest Updates on Trash to Gold

Hi all. This is a concise update to let the rest of you all know the progress of Trash to Gold. Basically the proposal is being approved by Mrs Ang already. We are doing the Filming of the video advertisement on 12th March, the wednesday of the March Holidays, so please come and help us out if you are free!!! We are thinking of designing posters to paste around the school as well. Anyway. the short video advertisement is about a guy/girl or a group of people who are short-sighted but cannot afford specs for some reason, how they spend their day and some funny things or embarrassing things theat they experience because of their poor eyesight. So please help us brainstorm if u all have any interesting and innovative ideas. Also, the screening of the video is tentatively scheduled on the 17th March. Eddie from Mercy Relief is coming down on the 28th March to speak to the school. Lastly, the emphasis of the project is not about collecting and ask people to donate, is more about conveying the message and letting people know why they should donate and they should only donate after understanding the noble cause of this whole project. :D good luck and jia you for CTs.. stay happy
